After a winter that never ended, a spring that was non-existent, and summer that is consistently hotter than normal
in the mountains - its seems to be about just working around the tin can - planting trees to regain privacy and getting the wild flowers going on the septic system and well. We’re consintanly over run by covid tourists - so time at the lake and river has been impossible. Thankfully the Forest Service work continues and has allowed for me to find remote spots where I can find solitude in the woods, sun, and water. Exteriror deck with wood fired hot tub finished, along with steel railings. Have planted about 55 trees and a close to 75 perennials (got to love the southern VT perennial swapper group!) deck furniture made out of recycled milk jugs. skirting the house before snow flies the next on the punch list, and designing a pitched roof to harness rain water for the gardens as to not constantly have to pump the well. Add a parking spot near the house and moved the 20’ container into its final spot. Will be a shed and eventually a sauna in 1/2 of it. Comments are closed.
